English Abstract: Evaluation of horse-assisted ADHD training " results of a one-group pretest-posttest design

Abstract

An 11-week horse-assisted ADHD training with 12 children with the medical diagnosis of ADHD was tested in an evaluation study. The training included typical elements of horse-assisted therapy and special exercises for attention, executive functions and relaxation. The pretest-posttest comparison showed significant positive changes in all areas of core and accompanying symptoms.
