Regular, joyful exercise can have positive effects on both body and mind. Competitive athletes have an increased risk of training habits and competitions resulting in negative outcomes on their physical and psychological well-being.

This project examines potential changes in mobility and body awareness in four competitive athletes after taking part in HIPS equine-assisted therapy. Positive changes on both physical and psychological levels were observed in all subjects after five lessons of HIPS equine-assisted therapy.
